coming to an end

I miss blogging. It’s been awhile na rin since I last posted a proper entry.

It’s my last day at Worcester Sixth Form College this Friday. Over the last 3 years I managed to stay in contact with my old friends and gained some new ones. My final year of college has been difficult for me as I was on my own. My old friends left for University and I had to stay another year because I chose to study new subjects. However I did manage to gain new friends and they have all been so good to me and we have developed a close relationship with each other. It’s sad to think that it’ll all be coming to an end now because in reality we won’t be friends forever and we might forget each other in the next few months once we start University. But I guess it’s okay, no?

Anyway, I didn’t get to blog about my University offers as I’ve been missing in action in the last few weeks so I’m going to blog about it today. I got all three offers from the Universities I’ve applied to which were Birmingham City University, De Montfort University and Worcester University. I have also decided that I will be going to Worcester University even though the starting date is in February 2009 as they are full for the September intake. My mum even offered me to go on holiday in the Philippines and she’s going to pay for all the expenses but I decided that I’ll probably go home in December na lang with Jeth :heartu: para masaya since I think ako lang mag-isa uuwi. But I’m still not sure whether I’m going on holiday in the Philippines kasi they’re planning to go to Paris and Italy some time this year kaya I’d rather want to visit new places pero we’ll see.

I’m going to try and update everyday rin.

5 things

I got a lot to blog about but I can’t be bothered anymore. So why not listen to my boyfriend’s new song called “5 things” on YouTube or you can listen to it here for the time being.

My blog is becoming boring (not that it was interesting before but you know what I mean).

I’m going to blog tomorrow especially since my mum bought a new desktop. That will surely motivate me to blog everyday now.

Toodles my noodles.

midnight madness

:celebrate: Finally, I have finished making my layout and it is now up for the world wide web to see. BUT (oh, yes a big but), just to warn you, I might change my mind when I wake up tomorrow morning and decide that I want to change my header again. I’m so fickle (I knows it alreadaaay).

Btw, I still haven’t finished cleaning my room but I have started the other day. Two months worth of dirty laundry are already being washed. It’s quite surprising that I didn’t run out of clothes to wear to college. But then again, I have got tons of clothes in my closet still unworn from my shopping sprees. Nyay!

I’ll be back later to blog. It’s already 01:42 am and I am tired from doing nothing all day. Gah, I’m so lazy. I don’t know whether I’m happy that I got work tomorrow or maybe I’m feeling miserable because I don’t like working yet I earn £££ out of it. But if I don’t go to work then how am I going to buy my future lappy toppy? Ahh bahala na :hmpf: ! Malapit na summer, I’m going to work hard to earn more money so I can buy all the things I want :heartu: and I can buy Jeth a new watch again since I bought his Ecko UNLTD watch last Christmas, he seem to have gained a sudden fascination on designer watches. Hahaha!

A friend of mine needs your help. Please read this.

good things

So many good things has happened in the last couple of days. I haven’t blogged about it yet so here I am pretty much excited to blog :haha: . Anyway, a day or two ago I received an e-mail from UCAS regarding my application at Birmingham City University. As some of you may know, I went to an interview last week and I felt very nervous at that time because I didn’t know what to expect. So I pretty much thought that I probably won’t get into that University anyway. But guess what? I got an unconditional offer. Meaning I’ve got a place at Birmingham City University regardless of my grades. So if I failed my exams this summer I will still get in. Haha! BUT . . . I am not going to fail because I want to make my parents, Jeth, the people around me and of course, myself proud. Soooo wuhooo!

Speaking of exams, I found out my exam results from my January exams today. I’m so proud of myself because I PASSED all three sociology exams. That is definitely something to celebrate. I am so determined to get good grades now. LOL!

Yesterday, I went to Leicester for an interview at De Montfort University. I have to say, I was feeling a wee bit confident as I have already experienced the whole interview thing last week so I wasn’t that nervous. Also, I was with Jeth when I went to my interview. My parents and Tita Annabelle dropped us off at the University unlike last time my mum had to stay with me for 30 minutes. I must say that having Jeth there helped a lot too as he kept my mind off things :hugs: .

I’ll try to post some pictures later. I’m so tired already.

Nearly forgot to mention this, I got my hair cut last monday. Will definitely post a picture after I get home from work later.

Gizmo the Gremlin and more interviews

The interview the other day went okay. I don’t really have much to say about it.

Anyway, I have so much work to do this weekend. It’s unbelievable. All my courseworks have been piling up now as I have just left it until the last minute. It’s crazy but I have to do it all this weekend.

On Wednesday, I have another interview at De Montfort University in Leicester so that means while I’m waiting to be interviewed I can spend some quality time with my lovely boyfriend Jeth :hugs: . Then in May, I have another interview at Worcester University. Errr. Great!

***

I’m watching Gremlins 2: The New Batch right now. I can’t help but laugh. It’s too funny for me. And Gizmo is so cute. Gah! He is so silly.I remember when I was a kid I’ve always wanted to have a Gizmo toy but my parents never bought me one (I think). Or maybe they have bought me a Gizmo toy but I can’t remember :haha: ? But whatever, I want a Gizmo toy still. LOL! I might order one on the internet. Hmm

natural disasters and university interview

There was an earthquake around 1:00 in the morning. I was already fast asleep when my bed shook. It woke me up. I was like wtfeezie was that? I thought someone jumped on my bed :haha: . I was just sat there thinking “that could not have been an earthquake  ?”. Then I went on to touch my bed railings that’s when I realised that an earthquake had occurred because I could still feel the aftershock. Jeth who lives in Leicester felt the earthquake too. I thought it only happened in Worcester. A bit silly of me to have thought of that really. I’m surprised not everyone felt the earthquake though. Most of my friends were saying that they didn’t feel the earthquake. My sister was sleeping like a baby that she only realised there was an earthquake when I told her this morning before she went off to school.

Anyway, on an unrelated note, I have an interview tomorrow at Birmingham City University. My goodness :dead: ! I am freaking out right now. I haven’t really prepared for this even though I found out about it a few weeks ago :haha: . You can just tell how bad I am at organising my time and things :annoyed: .

Well, good luck to me :scared: and :fainted: Pray for me puhleez. I SERIOUSLY NEED IT!

[Edit - 7:44 p.m.]

I’m supposed to be doing some preparation for my interview tomorrow but I made this instead  .

half-term photos

I don’t want to blog about my half-term anymore. It’s been so long now that I can’t remember all the details.

BUT . . .

During half-term, I got an informal job interview at a Thai restaurant that is supposed to be opening this Friday which is when I should start working but since they still haven’t finished fixing the restaurant I might not be able to start work until March.

YAY  more free time!

Anyway, here are some pictures during half-term.

PS. Made a new theme today. It’s simple but I like how it turned out. Brown and Pink together looks good :haha: .

WELCOME

You have stumbled upon EMOTIONAL-OVERLOAD » THE SWEET LIFE. The site was opened because it gave me the opportunity to talk (or blog) about the things that runs through my head and the emotions I feel where I am able to let it all out and not having to keep it inside me. Then again, most of my entries are quite random. I rarely talk about important current events because I find them quite boring but you never know. This site is best viewed in Mozilla Firefox.
