Day 1 (JULY 22,2008) - We arrived in Italy a little earlier than we expected. Treviso was our destined airport which is near Venezia just 30 minutes away. Tito Tata picked us up from the airport. I got a little dizzy from the flight so when we were still in the car on our way to Venezia I was feeling a bit sick and a bit confused because of the left-hand driving which I’m not used to. But anyway, when we got to the Torrecampo-Malalay’s home, Tita Obing and Mumi hugged like there was no tomorrow. They both cried because they haven’t seen each other for nearly 15 years and they were best friends when they were younger. They’re like a family. Well, actually, I think they are distant relatives of ours. I don’t really have proper pictures on our first day in Italy because like I said, I wasn’t feeling well and we everyone was so busy talking to each other and catching up that we’ve forgotten to take pictures. When Che-Che and Ryan arrived at their house we walked around Venezia Mestre for a bit with their friends. We didn’t take any pictures though because I was shy (LOL). So anyway, that was our first day in Italy. It was mostly about catching up with some old friends and we had jet lagged especially me so I took a little nap then woke up to go out with Che-Che and Ryan. Then I went to bed early that night. Well, I think I did went to bed early that night or maybe not? I’m not sure but whatever all I know is that I didn’t do much that day because I was jetlagged.
Oh, while we were on the plane to Venice we flew pass the Swiss alps and as we weren’t high up in the sky we experienced an air pocket. It was the most scariest thing that I’ve experienced in my entire life. I couldn’t wait to get off the plane and be on the ground again. Phew! Thank God nothing bad happened.
Day 2 (JULY 23,2008) - We roamed the streets of Mestre, Venice. Mestre is the mainland town in Venice it is connected over the rail and road bridges over the lagoon. That is where we stayed during our holiday because my mum’s friends live there. The house where we stayed in was actually very convenient because it was only a few minutes away from the shops. Of course, all I had in mind was shopping but I didn’t buy much because I couldn’t afford most of the stuff and I only had €20 in my wallet. So I just ended up buying 2 tops at H&M which were on sale. Surprisingly, the top that I’ve been wanting to get for a very long time was on sale too and it was only for €4. I was ecstatic because the original price of that top in British pounds is 14 and to get it at such a cheap price, who wouldn’t be thrilled by that? Anyway, after my so-called “shopping”, we left the Galleria and went to the centre of Mestre which is only a couple of yards away. We roamed, took pictures, appreciated the culture and appreciated the fact that we were able to visit a very well-known country that is rich in history.
After all the walking we finally went back to the house. Then at around 6 p.m., Che-Che, Ryan, Steffi, Ate Bebot and I rode the bus to somewhere. I don’t know where it was but it was probably a 15 to 20 minutes journey to go to a birthday party. At first I was very hesitant to go. I remember giving my parents death stares because I really didn’t want to go but it was alright in the end. We were actually quite shy at the party even Che-Che who knew the birthday celebrant was pretty quiet. Nonetheless, I had fun at the party. After the party, we went back to Mestre but didn’t go straight home. We decided to walk around town. We went to a gelateria and that was the first time I had a brioche-gelato sandwich. Jeth always eats that kind of combination and always wanted me to try it but I never did. And who would have thought that I would ever try it? I definitely didn’t see that coming.
After walking around town we decided to head back home. Then when we got home, my parents decided that they want to see what Venice looks like and I’ve always wanted to see what Venice looks like at night. However, we didn’t exactly go into the floating island. We just looked at it from the crossing because it was really late. I tried taking pictures but it didn’t come out well enough for you to see. After that we headed back home and ended our day.
Italy Holiday: Day 1 & 2

. I thought I’d make a new one because it doesn’t feel like summer in Britain anymore since it’s been raining a lot lately
. I’d definitely keep this layout for a long time as I know I won’t have the time to make a new one once University starts. And I know I’m going to keep this one because it looks relaxing and I like it.
and it’s so short I cried when I found out how short it was. But I got over it now and I’m liking it. I just don’t like how short it is though because I can’t style it as much as I used to.
and a lot of things happened during my holiday so it’s going to be a long and detailed entry.

as usual. So anyway, since I woke up early this morning I feel like blogging random things. First off, here are 3 pictures from my trip to Wimbledon. I posted all my Wimbledon pictures on multiply because I feel that it’s safe to post there since my account is private. You know? Too many posers nowadays. It’s crazy

. It is so pigmented and it is quite comparable to Mac. Too bad they don’t sell it in the UK but I got my hands on a NYX trio and NYX eyeshadow pencil. I am definitely going to buy some more of these cosmetics. How I wish
I have relatives in the USA
. Well, I do have some but we don’t have a tight-knit family because my mum is always so busy so she doesn’t have time to communicate with them but my Auntie is pretty close with them. And also, I haven’t seen them before only their dad whom is my late-grandfather’s brother. But anyway, enough about that, I also bought two Revlon quads and the colours are so pretty. I wish I have money. LOL! I’m totally broke and I only have £2 in my wallet and none in my bank account
. Haha!
.
. Plus, I’m addicted to NYX cosmetics so I’m planning on buying more of that
and it is no longer active. Ahh! I’m so bummed about that. Anyway, if you want to earn money online then I suggest you sign up at

. I’m listening to her new single right now and I absolutely love it. However, at first I was kinda disappointed with the beats because it didn’t feel like her but what do I know? I’m just a frikkin fan so I don’t know much about her taste in music. But it’s cool. You can’t really dance to it but you can sing along though. BUT HECK, I LOVE BOTH OF THE SONGS NOW. It’s kinda catchy.
I’ve been waiting for her new single to come out for a week now so when it did, out of excitement I came up with this (
